Sports Club regulations
- The services offered at Meriton Sports Club (hereinafter: Club) are available to all Club members and persons using the Club’s services with a single pass. All customers are required to follow the Club’s regulations while in the Club
- The membership card issued to Club members is personal and may not be transferred to others. The membership card can be exchanged for a personal wristband which costs 15 euros. If the membership card / wristband is used by another person, the Club will have the right to deprive that person of the membership card / wristband and charge the owner for a single pass fee as indicated in the price list for each breach discovered
- The loss of the membership card / wristband must promptly be notified to the reception of the Club. If the Club card / wristband is lost, a new card will cost 5 euros and a wristband will cost 15 euros
- The Club has the right to change the opening hours, price list, class schedule, etc. of the Club
- The Club has the right to ask to take a photo of the owners of monthly passes of the Club
- The Club has the right to ask the customers for their identification documents
- The Club has the right to save its customers’ personal data and photos in a specific programme
- Monthly passes will not be extended after the expiry of their term, or “paused”
- Children under the age of 16 are only allowed in the gym together with a parent or trainer. If necessary, children up to the age of 6 (included) are allowed in opposite gender dressing rooms
- While at the sports club, the customers are expected not to disturb other customers with their behaviour or activities, including while attending group classes, using the gym or locker room or in the aqua centre
- The property of the Club and other persons must be treated with care and respect. A Club member is required to compensate the damage caused to the Club and/or a third party
- The Club is not responsible for the customers’ personal property. Valuables can be kept in the safe at the reception of the aqua centre
- Customers are training at the Club on their own responsibility. If the customer has any health problems, he/she is advised to consult his/her physician before training. The Customer is obliged to inform his/her trainer of any injury or trauma as soon as these occur
- The Club is not responsible for illnesses or accidents that are caused by the customer’s own activity or by force majeure
- While at the Club, customers are required to wear sports clothes and indoor footwear to ensure hygiene and safety. To ensure safety, customers are not allowed to wear sandals or any other open type shoes or be barefoot in the gym. In group trainings, sports clothes and footwear suitable for the specific training must be used. To ensure customer safety and hygiene, it is recommended for customers to wear slippers in the shower rooms and in the pool
- We recommend signing up for group classes beforehand because the number of participants is limited. If unable to attend a training class already booked, customers are required to cancel the booking. If a customer has signed up for consecutive classes and fails to attend the first one, the Club has the right to cancel the next class for the customer
- Participation in a group class can be booked in the online booking system, by calling 6288120 or on site at the Club
- A fitness towel must always be used during group training, in the gym and on mats. If the customer does not have a fitness towel, it can be rented from the reception of the aqua centre
- Gym equipment and any other workout equipment used during training classes must be cleaned after use
- Workout equipment must be used prudently and adjusted according to instructions. Trainers can be asked about the adjustment and use of workout equipment
- We ask the customers to promptly notify the staff of the sports club of any issues in the sports club or workout equipment
- All workout equipment used during a training class must be returned to their original position
- It is not allowed to be late to group training classes as it disturbs other attendants and is not safe either for the member or other attendants. A trainer has the right to not allow a person who is late to join the training class
- If a customer needs to leave a training class before the end of the class, we ask that the trainer be notified before the beginning of the class
- It is not allowed to bring and eat one’s own food at the Club. No glasses or bottles without caps should be taken to the fitness halls
- Any rubbish should be put in rubbish bins
- Smoking and using alcohol and drugs in the premises of the Club is forbidden. It is strictly forbidden to enter the Club while intoxicated by alcohol or drugs
- It is not allowed to use mobile phones in the fitness halls. If you take your mobile phone to a group class, please make sure it on mute for the duration of the class
- All hygiene requirements must be complied with before using the swimming pool and sauna
- It is not allowed to use any oils, honey, salts or other body and face treatment products in the sauna and in showers
- On arrival, the customer receives a locker key and/or safe key for the duration of the training class. If the locker and/or safe key is lost or returned broken, the customer is required to pay a fine of 20 euros
- It is forbidden to take any pets to the Club
- In case of an accident, the customer should call 112 and notify the reception of the Club. Location of first aid equipment: reception on the first and second floor
- Upon violation of the Club rules by the customer, the sports club has the right to temporarily suspend or even terminate the Club member status of the customer
- Services at the Club are only provided by persons authorised by the Club. A member is not allowed to offer any services (including training/consulting/instructing in the gym or aqua centre) to third persons (including other members) without the written permission of the Club. Should a customer provide training services to other persons regardless of the remarks made by the staff of the Club, the sports club will have the right to unilaterally cancel the customer’s agreement and prohibit the customer from using the Club
- Any items lost and found in the sports club are kept in the reception for 14 days.
